Course Description

Data protection is now a critical aspect of all organisations who deal with, handle, exchange and work with any form of personal or sensitive data, in both public and private sectors. The ability to comply with the ever changing legislation is critical, and failure to do so can result in serious fines or reputation damage.

This course will provide a fantastic introduction into the key areas you need to be aware of, how to correctly store and process personal data, and important aspects you may not have considered.

This course would benefit staff who have responsibility for managing data, as well as those who play an important role in ensuring the organisation is compliant in its obligations under the GDPR, but may not necessarily work in the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO).
